Faith Statement                                   Vision Statement                                     Goals

God had a plan before we even seen the vision.

In 1999 Max and Verna Perez moved to Panama to minister to Max's people the Kuna Indians.  They invited a group of volunteer missionaries to go down to Panama and minister.  Before the trip was over God had impressed it on our hearts that this was something He desired us to be a part of.  We had no idea that this short term mission trip would grow into a personal ministry for each of us.   For the next two years God worked in our lives individually and as a group.  He brought together all the people necessary to complete the vision He had placed in each of our hearts.

In 2003 Souls Seekers Ministry was born!

Faith Statement

  • ·        We believe that there is one true God that exists in three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  • ·        We believe the bible to be the absolute inspired Word of God.  The Scriptures are infallible and God-breathed, and are the final authority for faith and life.

  • ·        We believe that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and was born of the virgin Mary, providing our redemption through His death on the cross.  Our salvation is made complete by His physical resurrection from the dead.

  • ·        We believe that the Holy Spirit is a Person who convicts the world of sin, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ, indwelling and sealing them unto the day of redemption.

  • ·        We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins.

  • ·        We believe that through salvation we are kept by God’s power and are secure in Christ forever.

  • ·        We believe as believers in Christ we have been given the responsibility to make sure all know about the love and salvation of Jesus Christ.  This is universally known as the great commission.

Vision Statement

We exist to disciple the nations in their own culture by preaching, teaching and healing.

Goals

Our goals are to disciple nationals and provide them with the support and materials they need to take the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ out into their own country.  We believe completely in the concept "Give a man a fish and he will be hungry the next day, but teach a man to fish and he will have food for the rest of his life.”  Teaching foreign Christians how to teach, preach and heal in their own culture will allow the Gospel to be brought into communities and homes that Americans would never be able to reach.
