God had a plan before we ever saw the vision

In 1999, newlyweds Max and Verna Perez moved to Max’s country, Panama. They became involved in a small apartment complex church.  While visiting, Clara, Verna’s mom, was moved to bring volunteers from her church to help this church.   In 2001 they coordinated their first short term mission trip and God moved in all their hearts.  God was inviting them to be a part of His plan.  They had no idea that this short-term mission trip would grow into a personal ministry for each of them.   For the next two years God worked in their lives individually and as a group.  He brought together the people necessary to complete the vision He had placed in each of their hearts. In 2003, Souls Seekers Ministry was born!

Mission Statement

Soul Seekers Ministry exist to disciple the nations in their own culture by preaching, teaching, and healing.

Faith Statement

.   We believe that there is one true God that exists in three Persons-Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

·   We believe the bible to be the absolute inspired Word of God.  The Scriptures are infallible and God-breathed, and are the final authority for faith and life.

·   We believe that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and was born of the virgin Mary, providing our redemption through His death on the cross.  Our salvation is made complete by His physical resurrection from the dead.

·   We believe that the Holy Spirit is a Person who convicts the world of sin, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ, indwelling and sealing them unto the day of redemption.

·  We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins.

·  We believe that through salvation we are kept by God’s power and are secure in Christ forever.

·  We believe as believers in Christ we have been given the responsibility to make sure all know about the love and salvation of Jesus Christ.  This is universally known as the great commission.
