Making disciples who make disciples.

 More and more, everyday we have been adjusting our plans to fulfill the Great Commission. We want to see the picture above in many homes to come. In January, we made two trips to the villiage.

Simple, Practical, and Reproducible

---

Our focus, when teaching and planning the lessons is to make everything: simple, practical and reproducible.

 Because of this approach, we are making a simple manual to help make disciples. We are teaching this manual in the village by focusing on our core group of around five people. The goal is that after learning, they will then go and be able to use the same manual to make more disciples! This manual is specifially made for the people in the village. It contains lots of pictures so that those who are unable to read can look at the images and still make disciples.

Teaching the Youth

 We also want to teach these principles to the 13-15 year olds. The school in the village is only an elementrary school. So after they graduate from elementary, the boys start helping the dad hunt and fish.

The girls help cook, care for thier siblings and bring water in the house with their mom. However, most of the time the girls get pregnant around age of 13. Consequently, they stop going to church.

  So, we have started purposefully working with a group of them.

Spiritual Warfare

---

One thing our team has been studying is Ephesians 6:10-17, the armor of God. The enemy has been doing his job by sparking division between some of our city team and the people from the village.

This verse has been a good reminder that our fight is not against them but against the spirits involved in their traditional ceremonies. So, we get ready to fight with prayer; recognizing our dependence is not in our wisdom but God's word.

Please pray as we put on our armor every time we go to the village.

Wala | Training | Repetition

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 2 Timothy 3:16

Wala

This is Wala, where a lot of the huts were burnt down in March. They have been able to rebuild with the help of the government, other communities, organizations, and churches.

Training Pastor Hernan and I spent last weekend there to train them by studying 2 Timothy 3:16.

Repetition

The focus was understanding the importance of the Bible and encouraging them to read it together.

Knowing there were some people that can’t read or write we repeated the verse in Kuna many and many times.

We wanted to make sure that if they forgot everything that we had said they would not forget 2 Timothy 3:16.

I believe it was accomplished and they were excited that they were able to say it by memory!

Our prayer now is that what they have in their head goes to their heart and only God can do that.

We have been going and planning to go to different churches communities to ignite and motivate to read, meditate, and obey God’s word. We want to see new disciples that in turn make more new disciples.

New Truck!

First: Personal Update

---

Hello Friends and Family, I pray and hope that each one of your are doing great and had a great 4th of July. We thank God for each one of you. God has amazed us once again. We are glad to share some of the new things God has been doing. Blessings

Verna: She has started teaching online English classes and doing virtual assistant work.

Saraí: She is with Clara in Pecos, Texas. She is still taking some online college classes and keeping her grandma company. She started to teach a Sunday school class with one person and has already multiplied to two!

Misael:

He is taking some online college classes and helping out in the ministry.

They are both helping a lot with the social media and tech for the ministry. We are proud of them.

Max:

I have started writing a simple, practical and reproducible Bible study material for the group in the village. The challenge is the language. I'm writing it in Spanish but their first language is Kuna.

I was able to train some of our team so they can teach it in Kuna. I have also had a translator when I teach it. Keep praying for me to learn the language enough to teach and preach in Kuna.

New Truck!

We want to thank God for using one of our faithful donors to donate a truck for the ministry. This has helped us tremendously! We have already used it many times to visit different villages.

It also helps to be consistent in discipleling and visiting other communities since we no longer need to rely on other vehicles' schedule. We praise God for this AMAZING donation!
