1 Peter 4:12 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.

Panama is slowly opening up! Yesterday, our team went to Puerto Gavilana and then from there we took a 2 hour canoe ride to Diwarsicua, a village that is deeper in the jungle. Our visit there was to do a prayer walk and seek God’s guidance as we want to minister there again. Two families from Puerto Gavilana came with us to visit Diwarsicua. On the way, there we spotted an alligator!

We got to see old friends in Diwarsicua and the Pastor. We walked the community praying for Diwarsicua. Later we shared the story of Jesus calming the seas with them. Kuna’s are oral learners, we would read the bible and then ask them to repeat back. It was awesome seeing them learn the Bible! We have fulfilled our mission by sharing God’s word, now we trust in God and pray that it changes their lives. When we went back to Puerto Gavilana, we fed the kids and met with the church.

This year we want to start going further and training new leaders, so pray with us as we go deeper in God’s word and deeper in the jungle to see miracles happening.
