What We’re Up To

During these time there are many worried about the virus, food, money, future, children and so many other things. Of course prayer is where we can meet The God who can reconcile our lives with Him. There are others that have found the opportunity to share Christ is a very creative way. My daughter Saraí, came up with an idea to have "Spirit Week" with each day a different theme. So, we asked her cousins, aunts and uncles to participate. We would take pictures and share with each other. Well, some of them started sharing the pictures through social media. We did not expect the reaction from people. People were amazed of the creativity and unity of our family. They said it brought lots of laughter specially during these time. We had so much fun. So, here are some of the pictures.
"God is most glorified when we are most satisfied in him". John Piper.
Psalm 67:4 Let the whole world sing for joy, because you govern the nations with justice and guide the people of the whole world

Hello Friends and Family! We want to share a quick update about what is going on here in Panama. We are still in lock down. We are able to go buy groceries M/W/F (women) and T/TH (men) for almost two hours. Since Easter, Saturdays and Sundays are a total lock down.
The villiage, Puerto Gavilana, does not have any cases of Covid-19. However, in the islands of Kuna Yala there are 74 case as of today. Please pray for them. Life is already challenging there without virus.
The government is giving a permit to non-profits who are helping the people during this trying time. We have applied for this permit even though our non-profit status is from the states not Panama. Please pray that they grant us permission. This would allow us to deliver bags of food to families in need. There are so many families without an income to buy food right now. Please let us know if you would like to help purchase food. Even without the permit we can use one of our shopping times to buy food and one to deliver food.
